Administration of Natrilix SR must be stopped in case of Liver disease.
Description
Natrilix SR contains Indapamide, indicated for the treatment of Essential Hypertension.
Contraindications
This drug must not be taken in the following situations:
- known allergy to this drug or to sulphonamides
- renal failure
- serious liver disease
- hypokalemia (abnormal decline in plasma potassium levels)

Precautions
Use this drug cautiously in the following situations disturbed water/electrolyte balance, diabetes, gout, kidney problems.
Your physician may need to request laboratory examinations to monitor your treatment, if in any doubt, do not hesitate to ask your physician or your pharmacist.
Drug interactions
To avoid possible interactions between several drugs, and in particular lithium and certain drugs used for heart rhythm problems, always inform your physician or pharmacist if you are taking any other medication.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
Inform your physician if you are pregnant, are breastfeeding or are trying to become pregnant.
Drivers and machinery operators
Individual reactions in relation with a decrease in the blood pressure may occur in certain patients.
Consequently, the ability to drive vehicles or use machinery may be diminished.
Athletes
Athletes, take care. This drug contains an active ingredient which may induce a positive reaction during antidoping tests.
