Genurin Forte Tablets

Description

Genurin Forte Tablets contain 200 mg of flavoxate hydrochloride per sugar- coated tablet. Flavoxate is an original product of Recordati research. It exerts a marked anti- spasmodic activity on the smooth muscle of the urogenital tract. Genurin Semplice type “Forte” is indicated for the treatment of symptoms of various urological and gynecological disorders, particularly in resistant of relapsing cases.

Indications

Contra-Indications

Genurin Forte is contra-indicated in patients with the following conditions: pyloric or duodenal obstruction, obstructive intestinal lesions or ileus achalasia, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, uncompensated obstructive uropathies of the lower urinary tract.

Warnings

In patients with concomitant infections of urogenital tract, flavoxate should be administered in combination with an adequate anti-infective therapy, Even though the compound exerts no appreciable anti-cholinergic action, it is appropriate to use it carefully in patients with glaucoma, especially in closed-angle forms. Patients under treatment driving cars, operating machinery of exerting activities requiring alertness, should be warned about the possible side-effects, such as drowsiness or blurred vision.
